Meeting Notice for Tuesday, April 1^st, 2008

Speaker Bio

Drew is a Vice President of BB & T Insurance Services, Employee Benefits division. Drew has been an insurance broker/consultant with BB & T since 1999. Prior to BB & T Drew was with MAMSI Health Plans/United Healthcare since 1992,  joining MAMSI after earning a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Towson University. At MAMSI,  Drew worked in the areas of underwriting, sales and provider contracting. Drew is currently associated with the National Health Underwriters Association and is past Legislative Chair for the Charlotte Health Underwriters Association.

Drew is involved with The United Way and the Arts and Science Council, and moved to Charlotte from Maryland in 1995. He lives in Matthews with his wife and 2 children.

Schedule
Registration and networking:  11:15am to 11:45am

Lunch:  11:45am to 12:15pm

Program:  12:15pm to 1:15pm

Location
The meeting will be held at Byron's Southend, located at 101 W. Worthington Avenue, Suite 114.  Byron's Southend is located in the Courtyard Building of the Design Center of the Carolinas.  The Design Center is located on the corner of W. Cost
If registration is received by Thursday, March 27^th, 2008 by noon the cost is $25 for members and $35 for guests.  After noon on March 27^th the cost is $30 for members and $40 for guests. 

Meeting registration must be paid prior to the meeting or at the door.  No-shows and cancellations after March 27^th at noon will be invoiced.

In June The Charlotte Chapter visits a job site that is near completion.  Is your company working on a project that you would like to showcase to your fellow CFMA peers? 

The chapter is looking for your company to lead the group on a tour.  After the tour the chapter will sponsor a social hour at a nearby location or on site if possible. 

If you company has a job that you might want to showcase, please contact either Brad Robinson of Bovis Lend Lease or Jennifer Wagner as soon as possible.

CFMA National Dues—Renewal Notices have been sent!

Members, please note that your membership dues should be sent to the national office as soon as possible.  Renewal payments will be late as of April 1^st, 2008.

General member dues are $310 and Associate Members dues are $410. 

CFMA National has sent invoices to your mailing address.  We hope you will continue to be a member!
